During 2012 the site was visited 8902 times by 4281 unique visitors. Information, analysis and ideas got a wide distribution through the hundreds of downloads of lectures and articles by international and domestic readers. This is the positive side of an open website; the negative side is that some people take free rides on novel concepts and developments without referencing the source. Free riders are causing the destruction of common goods.

The site provides news about my academic activities and publications. Most text and publications are in English, some are in Dutch (my mother-tongue), some in French. The site switches between languages without providing translations. The main menu (left) holds a list of journal articles and the six clusters of my research (Sustainable Energy Research offers an overview). In the six research clusters you find some background and the related publications. The Downloads provides access to all available files. The top menu holds under Publications the non-academic items.

Latest News (left) and Nederlandstalig Nieuws (right) show rolling lists of publications or their abstracts, slides or the full text of lectures, position papers, etc.  coming public during the last months.
